"Antique bookends",Pair of Art Deco bronze bookends made by the Pompeian Bronze Co. These bookends are made with a thick veneered bronze exterior and a filled interior.They were made at the turn of the 19th and 20th century. The Pompeian Bronze Co. made exact copies of museum pieces at that time. This pair of bookends measures 7 inches high 6 and one quarter inches long and 3 inches wide. This is a nice and heavy set and would hold larger books with no problem.

Loaded with wonderful lithographs by Robert Riger.There are 10 plates. The titles are #1 Eddie Arcaro #2 The Masters Hands #3 Post Parade #4 To The Post #5 Pre Race Gallop on The Back Stretch #6 Position OF The Lead Horse #7 Tight Spot At The Quarter Pole #8 Heading For Home #9 The Hand Ride #10 The Finish. Each lithograph could be framed and is marked bottom left Original Lithograph by Robert Riger from the Sports Illustrated Collection. The book measures 16 and one half inches high by 12 and one quarter inches wide.
